As governor of Indiana, Pence helped to sign some of the most restrictive anti-choice legislation in the country and has been a staunch advocate for de-funding Planned Parenthood. In 2011 he told Politico: “As long as they aspire to [provide abortion care], I’ll be after them.”

That was the year he said on the floor of the House: "I long for the day that Roe v. Wade is sent to the ash heap of history."

Earlier this month, Vice President-elect Pence's neighbors posted gay pride flags all around the neighborhood to celebrate his arrival. Pence, recently named "Homophobe of the Year" by All Out members, voted against legislation that would protect LBGT folks from employment discrimination. An active opponent of same-sex marriage, Pence has also expressed support for conversion therapy.

Welcome to the neighborhood, Vice President-Elect Pence.
